Spofforth is a small village Church of England primary school, where every child is valued, supported and encouraged to flourish. At the heart of our school is a strong sense of community, where positive relationships between staff, pupils and families create a warm, safe and caring environment.
We proudly offer a broad, engaging and inclusive curriculum that inspires a love of learning and supports each child to achieve their full potential. Alongside academic success, we place great importance on pupils’ personal development, wellbeing and character, helping them grow into confident, respectful and responsible individuals.
Guided by our Christian vision and values, we strive to ensure that every child feels happy, secure and inspired, ready to embrace the opportunities and challenges of the future.

Our Federation brings together two small, rural Church of England primary schools—Follifoot and Spofforth—situated in the beautiful countryside not far from Harrogate. Each school has a long and proud history of serving its local community, offering a nurturing environment where children are known, valued, and encouraged to thrive.
While both schools share the same Christian vision, high expectations, and commitment to inclusive, highquality education, each retains its own unique identity, traditions, and sense of place.
Together, they form a strong, collaborative federation that celebrates the strengths of both settings and provides rich opportunities for pupils, staff, and families across our communities.
