Where Most Our Fundrasing Money Goes
CLASS MONEY POTS
Last year we started new ‘Class Money Pots’ where each class is given £200 for teachers to spend as they need and wish to benefit the children’s learning.
SCHOOL RESOURCES
We support the school, teachers and children by providing funds for equipment, books for class libraries, resources, club equipment, crafts, instruments and so much more to generally support the children and enhance the school curriculum.
IT EQUIPMENT
Each year, the school audits the IT equipment and where required, FoFS allocate funds to ensure there is plenty of IT resources available to the children. Last year, with your help, 4 new laptops and a large monitor screen were bought for the school.
SCHOOL TRIPS
Over the last year we have raised money to support educational school trips, Christmas pantomime bus hire and sporting events.
EVENTS
Such as Bake Sales, School Disco, Movie Night, fundraising evenings and Follifete, our School Summer Fair, to name a few.

What We Do
FoFS is managed by a small committee of parents who volunteer together to organise fundraising events to raise money for important school provisions such as laptops, books, equipment, school trips and resources to support the curriculum, to name a few. We also arrange fun events, parties and experiences for the children.
We support the school by raising as much money as we can to enrich and enhance every child’s educational experience at Follifoot Primary School.
Every event we hold is for the benefit of the children, and we cannot do this without the support and help from you as parents, so thank you for your ongoing support.

We Need More Parents To Join Our Team
WE NEED MORE HELP
Quite simply, we need more full time members to continue to help FoFS fundraise for the school. We volunteer our time and more parents on our team will spread the help needed to fundraise.
FOFS CHAIR & SECRETARY VACANCY IN SPRING TERM
In April our Chair Samantha Gallimore and Secretary Lisa Ashton will be stepping down from FoFS as Year 6 parents. In order for FoFS to continue, and as well as needing more volunteers to join, we will also need a new Chair and Secretary. This could be you!
ORGANISATION
All our events take time to decide, plan and execute in order to raise money. We meet once a month to organise our next fundraisers and events and have a lot of fun along the way!
YOUR HELP
Whatever your skill set, we would love to hear from you and welcome you to our team! FoFS is a great way to socialise with the parent community and learn new skills at the same time!
Request And Planning
The Headteacher and teachers regularly request our financial support for specific trips, school items and funding for school projects. With this in mind and depending on what time of year it is, we discuss and plan for these requests and plan future events.
As you know, with your help we have raised £3,409 over the last year. We need to continue to support Follifoot Primary School by becoming a bigger team.
